*Cruelty Free* | Sukin Natural Deodorant | REVIEW

The Sukin Natural Deodorant was an absolute godsend for me when I found this on the shelf in Chemist Warehouse. This deodorant is completely natural, Australian made, vegan and cruelty-free!! It also has NO:
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Animal Derivatives
– Harsh Detergents
– Propylene Glycol
– Artificial Colours
AND More! This deodorant is absolutely incredible. It has scents of Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanillin. It was typically made for normal skin types, and I’ll explain later on in this post how it worked for me and my sensitive skin.

Some of you might have seen on my YouTube channel my ‘How Cruel Is My Makeup Bag’ video, in which I went through my makeup collection using the app ‘Cruelty Cutter’  to see how many of my products in my collection were cruelty-free.

Since then I have been religiously looking for cruelty-free products, and have sort of succeeded I guess you could say. I have struggled so much to find cruelty free deodorants and I think I have finally found my go to.

This is the Sukin Natural Deodorant, which I purchased from >>Chemist Warehouse<< here in Australia. If you are a UK reader, it is currently on sale in >>Holland & Barrett<<  and is around £6 rather than £8.

I used this deodorant for 3 days to give it a trial, and I’m going to upload a YouTube video reviewing it too, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long for that!

On the first day, I had a shower so I had a nice clean surface for the deodorant to go on to. I gave the deodorant a shake before use, which it didn’t actually tell me to do but just to be safe I gave it a good shake.

At first, I thought the spray of the bottle was a little strange, to begin with. It felt a little stiff and maybe it just needed using a few times. I applied the deodorant at around 8:30am.
Something I noticed the first time I applied the deodorant was it felt a little sticky. I then did my makeup and just ignored the sticky feeling, and thankfully it disappeared within 10 minutes.  From 8:30 onwards I did a bunch of college work and then got to about half 11 where I noticed the deodorant felt sticky again so I went and did another two sprays under each arm.

I was a little disheartened that it started to wear off after about 3 hours, so I checked the time again when I applied second time in hopes it would last a little longer and it did! This time it lasted from around 11:35 to at least 3pm. After 3pm, I noticed I only had to apply it once more before I went to bed.

Its safe to say I am more than impressed with the deodorant. After those 3 days of testing and trialling the deodorant, I will definitely carry on using and would highly recommend anyone tries this.

I thought I’d mention that I have quite sensitive skin underneath my arms, so this is absolutely incredible for me, and anyone else with sensitive underarms. Not to mention the scent is such a lovely smell AND can be used on your body as well as under your arms.

I am so so impressed. Do you have any cruelty free finds? Would you be willing to pick this up? Let me know!

Till next time,

Abi xx
